DATA OPERATIONS LEAD

Location: Puebla

The Challenge:

It is to act as the single point of accountability for all data initiatives in the market, ensuring alignment with Global Data Operations strategies, frameworks, and standards.

The role will coordinate all local data activities, embed governance and quality practices, and serve as the bridge between Mexico stakeholders and the Global Data Operations function.

Key Roles and Responsabilities:

Lead Local Data Ownership: Act as the central point of accountability for all data

Coordinate with Global Data Operations: Serve as the local bridge to Global Data Operations, ensuring Mexico adopts and complies with global frameworks for data engineering, business intelligence, governance, and architecture.

Oversee Data Quality and Controls: Establish and monitor reconciliation, validation, and quality checks across Mexico’s data processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability of outputs.

Support Data Migration and Integration: Oversee the migration of Mexico’s data assets into the global Snowflake environment, coordinating with global engineering and architecture teams to ensure smooth transitions.

Enable BI Standardisation: Support the adoption of global BI best practices, ensuring reporting, dashboards, and analytics

What We're Looking For:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

·       Full professional English

·       Strong knowledge of data management, governance, and BI practices.

·       Understanding of data pipelines, migration, and cloud platforms (Snowflake/AWS preferred).

Experience and Skills:

§  Experience in data operations, BI, or data governance roles within a large or complex organisation.

·       Exposure to cloud data migrations or modern data platforms (preferred).

·       Proven ability to influence and align teams to shared frameworks and goals.Experience

Requirements

§  5–7 years in a similar role

§  3–5 years leading teams (preferably cross-functional).

§  Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning on AWS.
